One Is The Loneliest Number....But That Can Be Fixed

I had a gig tonight in Atlanta.  It was my first one since being back from L.A. and it was exactly what I needed.  Writing songs can be a lonely profession.  You're in a room, usually alone, writing personal songs about things that have affected you or someone you know.  You put your blood, sweat and tears into and hope that someone (other than you or your Mom) will like it and find a connection to it.
I've been doing a lot of writing lately and had really missed that feeling you get when you perform for other people and interact with strangers/new comers to your music.  I also missed putting myself in a situation that would allow me to see what (if any) connection people had to my music.
It was such a fantastic crowd tonight and I felt beyond welcomed and appreciated.  They listened (which is ALWAYS a nice change of pace) and had such kind words to say.  It really helped "recharge" my batteries and put me in a good head space.  So, if you were there...thank you.
